These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your purchase of any products through it (the "Services"), operated by Ardyn Project ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use the Services.
Who we are
Ardyn Project is a UK-based business providing digital guides, tools, and related products for independent filmmakers.

Our products
All products sold through this store are digital products, delivered electronically. This includes (but isn't limited to):
- Filmmakers Career Guide, in all tiers (Foundation, Pathway, Pathfinder, North Star)
- Companion Tools Packages
- Custom LUT packs
- The Ardyn Project Claude Skill
- The Monthly Drop subscription
No physical item is shipped for any product on this site.
Placing an order
When you place an order, you're making an offer to purchase a product under these Terms. We'll send you an order confirmation by email — this confirms we've received your order, not that we've accepted it. A contract between us is formed once we deliver (or make available) the digital product to you.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example if a product is mispriced, unavailable, or we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we'll refund you in full.
Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed securely through Shopify and its payment providers at the time of order — we do not store your full card details.
We may change our prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders you've already placed and paid for.
Digital delivery
Once payment is confirmed, your product will be delivered electronically — typically as a downloadable file (e.g. PDF) sent to your email address and/or made available via an order confirmation or account page.
It's your responsibility to:
- Provide a valid, accurate email address at checkout.
- Check your spam/junk folder if a delivery email doesn't appear promptly.
- Download and save your files somewhere secure — we recommend keeping a personal backup, as we cannot guarantee indefinite hosting of every historical file version.
If you don't receive your product within a reasonable time after payment, contact us at ardynproject@gmail.com and we'll resolve it.
Your right to cancel — and digital content
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason.
However, this right does not apply once we begin supplying digital content that you have downloaded or accessed, provided that:
- You gave your express consent to us beginning delivery before the 14-day period ended, and
- You acknowledged that you would lose your right to cancel once delivery began.
In practice, this means: at checkout, you will be asked to confirm you understand that downloading your digital product immediately means you're giving up your legal right to a 14-day cooling-off period for that item. If you do not provide this consent, we may delay delivery to preserve your cancellation right, or you may choose not to proceed with the order.
This does not affect your other statutory rights — see Refunds and faulty digital content below.
Refunds and faulty digital content
Separately from the 14-day cancellation right above, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights if digital content is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose — for example, if a file is genuinely corrupted, doesn't match its product description, or fails to deliver at all due to an error on our end.
If this happens, contact us at ardynproject@gmail.com and we will, as appropriate:
- Fix the fault (e.g. resend a working file), or
- Provide a full or partial refund, if a fix isn't possible or reasonable.
Beyond this legal right, we may also offer refunds at our discretion outside of a fault — get in touch and we'll consider it fairly.
What we don't offer refunds for: simply changing your mind after you've downloaded and used a guide, or dissatisfaction with your own results — our guides are educational content, not a guarantee of any specific outcome (see No guaranteed results, below).
The Monthly Drop (subscription)
If you subscribe to The Monthly Drop:
- You'll be billed on a recurring monthly basis (or for the fixed term included in a bundle, e.g. the 6-month period included in Pathfinder Tier and North Star Tier) until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time through your account or by emailing ardynproject@gmail.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again after that.
- Because each month's content is delivered digital content (see above), each delivered instalment is not refundable once sent, though you're always free to cancel future billing.
- If a bundle tier includes a fixed-term subscription (e.g. "6-Month Monthly Drop"), the subscription will end automatically after that period unless you separately choose to continue it.
Licence to use our products
When you purchase a digital product from us, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use that product for your own personal or professional filmmaking career purposes.
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, share, or publish any guide, tool, template, or file (in whole or in part) to any other person or platform.
- Use our content to create a competing product or service.
- Remove any branding, copyright notice, or attribution from the files.
If you'd like to use our content in a way not covered here (e.g. for a workshop, a class, or a collaboration), email us — we're generally open to discussing it.
No guaranteed results
Our guides, tools, and pathway content are built on genuine, tested strategies, but we can't and don't guarantee any specific outcome — including view counts, follower growth, funding, festival selection, or income. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, consistency, content, and circumstances. Nothing in our marketing or products should be read as a promise of a specific result.
Intellectual property
All content on this site and within our products — including text, guides, illustrations, branding, and the Ardyn Project name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that content to you; you receive only the licence described above.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
- Upload or transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or infringing on someone else's rights.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or copy the Services without our permission.
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you've breached these Terms.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or loss of anticipated savings) arising from your use of the Services or our products. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that specific product.
Reviews and user content
If you submit a review, testimonial, or other content to us (including via email, social media, or a review platform), you grant us permission to display and use it on our website and in our marketing, with attribution as agreed. We only publish genuine feedback — see our approach to reviews for more detail if asked.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, including for legal, operational, or product reasons. The current version will always be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
Complaints
We'd like the chance to resolve any issue directly — email us at ardynproject@gmail.com and we'll do our best to sort it out. If you're a UK consumer and remain unhappy, you may also be entitled to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform or seek advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service.
